Confluence Advisors, LLC is pleased to announce that it advised Basic PSA, Inc. (“Basic”) in its sale to Anvil International, a portfolio company of One Equity Partners.
Headquartered in Johnstown, PA, Basic is a leading manufacturer and field service provider of shock arrestors (or “snubbers”) primarily to nuclear power plants throughout the world. A snubber is designed to allow normal thermal movement but protect piping and related systems from unwanted movement caused by seismic disturbances or other transient events.
“Basic’s product lines are highly complementary to Anvil’s Engineered Pipe Supports business in North Kingstown, RI,” said Tom Fish, CEO of Anvil International. “Basic’s service business brings a new offering to our portfolio of customer solutions in the power industry.” Basic will continue to operate out of its Johnstown, PA manufacturing facility.
Grant Nelson, Vice President of Field Services commented, “Confluence was great to work with and we are very excited to be a part of the Anvil organization. We couldn’t have completed this transaction without the help of the Confluence team.”
